STEVE BOOCKVOR has produced, directed and choreographed theatrical and television projects internationally for the past forty years.
Steve’s lengthy professional Broadway background culminated in a Tony nomination for his work in Working. Other landmark original company shows include Follies, Cabaret, Annie and his ultimately being immortalized as "Al" in A Chorus Line. His years on Broadway gave him the privilege of working with some of the best creators in the business: Michael Bennett, Hal Prince, Stephen Sondheim, George Abbott, Stephen Schwartz, and Martin Charnin. Their high standards are reflected in every aspect of what he now creates.
As an Administrator, Steve worked as the Director of Theater Development for the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts and for the Music Conservatory of Westchester. In both instances, Steve successfully developed and maintained the Theater Programming for each, supervising a full faculty of teaching artists throughout the year while producing full-scale musicals annually.
Steve is continues to direct and dramaturg for new playwrights in New York. He is also a proud member of Post 78 in Ridgefield, CT.
